- The last Roman emperor is dethroned, and the Roman Empire collapses, ushering in the Dark Ages.[2][3] As a result, the First Great Maelstrom hits Stygia.[4]
- Decline of the Roman Empire: The Get of Fenris blame The Fianna for the fall of the White Howlers, and the Romans conquering Britain. The Get starts fighting the Fianna.
- 5000 BCE-476: The ancient, or Classical period.[5]
- 476-1350: The Middle Ages.[6]
477 CE[]
- Rome falls. The High Mythic Age begins.[7]
- In reaction to the fall of Rome, the Trinity of Constantinople holds the Second Council. The Triumvirate system is formally established, along with the first Scion families. All Cainites that are not under the protection of the Trinity are forced to leave the city.[8]
