  • A Persian scroll called the Zolondrodere surfaces (which may be a translation of an earlier work). The scroll, roughly translated, is the Covenant of the Silver Portal.[5][6]
  • The Beth-Alpha Synagogue in Galilee dates to this period.[7]
  • The physical aspect of the Library of Alexandria is destroyed by Bishop Theophilus. Its essence continues on as the Bibliotheca Iskandrina in the Vulgate.[8]
