Events[]
- Arthur Francis Anningsley continues to promote the Temple of the King, aggressively recruiting anyone who fits the criteria. By the end of the year, the Temple is internationally represented, with chapters in New York, Washington, D.C., Paris, Munich, Rome and Moscow.[1]
- Harper-Collins publishes a book by Dr. Charles Cermontes called Gods, Heroes & Monsters: The Secret History of Novas. The book proposes that most of history's heroes and mythological figures were, in fact, novas. A reviewer feels he plays the "psychic" card a little too much, as modern research of psychic abilities shows no evidence of an M-R node.[2]
February[]
- This month's "mailbag" column in Nova Beat magazine features a number of readers requesting more information on Teen Tomorrow and its members Lit, Smart Alex, and Teardrop.[3]
April[]
- Wilhelm Peron Lehrder meets with the most intelligent and progressive members of the Medellín Cartel to lay out his new delivery system, not subject to the problems associated with regular lines of transport.[4]
May[]
- May 14: An OpNet poll is taken to determine the top-rated municipal defenders. The top ten are Anton "Gator" LeBec of New Orleans; Jonas "Kikjak" Kincaid of Detroit; Michelle "Corona" Medford of Sydney, Australia; The Gothic Knight of New York City, Robert "Rainbow" Rodi of San Francisco; Miguel "El Gato Negro" Esposito of Madrid, Spain; Lynette "Houston Tornado" Calendar of Houston; Malcolm "Terminus" Jackson of Atlanta; Violette "La Vitesse" Dulaire of Cologne, France; and Elizabeth "London Fog" Barton of London, England. The lowest-rated, at #71, was Sarah "Tenor" Meeks of Seattle.[5]
Notes[]
- The February item regarding Teen Tomorrow was originally placed as being in the February 2012 issue, however, since tn2m wasn't revealed to the public until March 21, I assumed that the issue was from 2013 instead.
