- A council of archbishops of the Lancea Sanctum republish a translated and revised version of the Testament of Longinus for distribution among the faithful.[1]
- A group of Ghost Wolves in Mongolia under the leadership of Dorj Tserendjav unearths pre-Sundering remains believed to be Isim-Ur, one of the Firstborn. The Eaters of the Dead are founded afterwards, intending to become a true Tribe by strengthening Isim-Ur enough.[2]

- December 21: Windy Ridge, a mountain near the small town of Barnstaple, becomes conscious, reaching out to the nearby children. These children hide when an avalanche from Windy Ridge strikes the town. They rather rapidly deteriorate into a cannibalistic society.[4]
