- Jeremiah Lassater makes his proverbial "deal with the Devil," granting a Wyrm-creature control of Premium Oil.[1]
- Joseph Tallman's mother (a Cherokee woman of unknown name) dies this year, but not before passing the powerful and ancient Mammoth's Bone fetish on to him. He eventually gives the artifact to his wife, Moriah Tallman, as a wedding gift.[2]
- Kepler and Captain Horatio Savage of the Explorators' Royal Ethernautical Society set foot on the Moon, stunning the rest of the Order of Reason as well as the Queen's Privy Council.[3][4][5][6]
- Deguchi Nao's daughter is driven to madness. Driven to despair, Deguchi later allegedly receives a vision from the Great God of the Universe and founds Omoto-kyo.[7]
