- Lisette, the last active member of Dracula's original three brides, leaves the Ordo Dracul, boarding a ship in London towards the east and vanishing from sight afterwards. [1]
- The Great Seattle Fire
- The God-Machine creates the first Fracture, a time bubble of Seattle before the Great Fire.[2]
- The Eiffel Tower is completed in Paris. It is, at that point, the tallest building in the world.[3]
- The City of Tokyo is officially declared on the territory of old Edo.[4]
- King Knud is sighted again in Odense, though he is now described as a bloodsucking monster. Once again, the Contagion appears in his wake.[5]
- November 16: a military coup officially removes Pedro II from the throne of Brazil, established a republic, and banished the ex-emperor from the country, just as Teshra-Gemet predicted would happen if he abolished slavery.[6]
