- The expedition of Johann Burkhardt is assaulted by Talaq and his Naba, preventing them from discovering Petra.[4]

- The last of three earthquakes in the Missouri Valley which temporarily reverse the course of the river's flow. The earthquakes are an experiment by the Reality Coders in creating Reality 2.0, and a failure.[5]
