Events[]
- The spread of Grimms' Fairy Tales leads to widespread standardization of the rules governing fae magic. Though the sudden shifts in rules permit an increase in the number of escapees from Arcadia, they also lead to schisms between changeling factions that seek to either spread or stymie the changes.[1]
- The Wolf-Queen of Texas, a Fire-Touched warlord, creates an alliance of Pure Tribes across Texas and Oklahoma.[2]
- Reykjavík begins growing into a city.[3]
- The Carthian Movement's history begins with the same radical thinkers who led to or outright created ideologies such as Marxism, Stalinism, and modern capitalism, as Kindred begin adopting mortal philosophies into their society.[4]
Early 1800s[]
- Members of the Sangiovanni family/bloodline stake their founder, Lodovico, whose sanity has been crumbling for some time.[5]
- A branch of the Jeremiad arrive in New Zealand, hoping to make contact with the Year of Plague as European diseases ravaged the native Maori. The faction returns five years later, unwilling to speak of their experience in Arcadia.[6]
Late 1800s[]
- Butch Cassidy and the Wild Bunch become the most successful train robbers in United States history.[7]
- Tumbledown Market expands beyond the bounds of New Orleans, as trods to the market open up in far-away places.[8]
- The Great Refusal takes places, effectively ending the Nameless War and resulting in the birth of the Free Council[9].
