- Duke Mindaugas unites the Aistan tribes and creates the grand duchy of Lithuania.[1]
- The Council of Faith. All orders meet to find a common strategy against the monsters of the night. Honorius III issues the secret bull "Inquisitores contra Diabolum enim et alii daemones", forming the Shadow Inquisition.[2]
- Anatole again debates Antoine de St. Lys in Paris. The unrest between their two groups of followers leads to Anatole's banishment and a Blood Hunt against St. Lys. Anatole lures St. Lys into the Cathedral du Notre Dame, and the bishop is destroyed by the Holy Ground.[3]
- Jadviga Almanov is Embraced.[4]
- Alexander is removed from power as Prince of Paris. His childe Geoffrey du Temple succeeds him.[5]
