- Exiled King Dermot MacMurrough of Leinster dies. The Earl of Pembroke, Richard Strongbow, declares himself King of Leinster in Dermot's place.[2]
- King Henry II's son Geoffrey marries Constance of Brittany, bringing the Duchy of Brittany and British control. England and Brittany combined became known as the Plantaganet Empire.[3]
- Inspired by the Kitab al-Alacir, Lorenzo Golo founds House Golo, Ex Miscellanea to promote magickal science.[4][5][6]
