Échiquier de Rouen, Chessboard of Rouen in english, is the ruling power for the Kindred of Rouen, and even for a large part of Normandie, during the Middle Ages.
After an unmpteenth attack agaisnt Rouen's kindred, saved by the presence of a powerful Tremere chantry, the local Ventrue elders had no choice than to spare the power over the area, and the Echiquier was put in place.

Black Tablier[]
Owned part of the Tremere clan.
- Maître Benoît when the main subject is about the city of Rouen itself, otherwise he usually send the chatelain of Rouen's Foundation, on the Black Tablier.
- A representative of Goratrix sent from Paris usually, on the Black Tablier.
- Depending on the subject of the session ,usually nominated by Thomas de Cherbourg and Maître Benoît, on the Black Tablier. Even sometimes someone from a Low Clan to repay a debt, infuriating the white tablier.
